(1)Maniac out ran McNab and the vipers on the rails.
(2)He beat Mars Bars n a race.
Theworst part of Maniac Magee's homelessness would have to be that he didn't have any parents or siblings to encourage him to follow his dreams.
Also I think that it would be nice for him to have somebody to talk to, play with, and do other things with.
It is sad becuase Maniac would have nobody to helphim with things that he needs or have nobody just come say good night when he goes to sleep.

I think a good word for amanda beil is kinda funny and a littel bosy. I think she is funny because she is allways telling maniac what to do in a very funny way. like when she went to go find maniace in her slippers and night shirt and she told him that he had to come with her because she hadwalked all the way there at mid night in her night shirt and slippers. Amanda bile said to maniace that she had climbed the fence in her pajamas and slippers.

The worst part is when he said that he said that he slept in the bufilo pin at the zoo. Another thing is when he is at the Valey Forge and met the two kids. Then he took the two braty kids home and could not go home to sleep. Then he also had to stay at alot of good and bad homes too.
The worst I think was when the guy die just of oldness. And when Maniac was at Amanda house when the guy told him to go back home wher he blong.

I think Maniac is brave because he lived by himself and he lived with his aunt and uncle and they always fought.
